Welcome to the Can Do Ladies classes information page. We want to empower everyone to learn that they can do anything that they set their mind to. We will teach women and men how to do their own remodeling and home improvements. Our goal is to empower you to do these things yourself.
Our quality training standards are high. Safety is always first when doing any type of work.

In this class you’ll learn the basics to maintaining your home. From checking the lint trap to checking for water leaks to changing furnace filters. The tools that you should always have around to do all the little things that just seem to happen around the house. Anytime you do something around the house one thing always seems to lead to 2 or 3 other things that need to be done. This class is 3 hour class.

So your house settled a little more since you moved in and now you have a few cracks. Or you had someone come in and do some work and they left you with a few holes and some scratches. They have been there for HOW long? Ladies, you can fix them yourself. You’ll learn that fixing holes is easy but takes a lot of sandpaper and a whole lot of patience to get that perfect patch. In this class you will get hands on practice and learn how to repair everything from a small crack to a large hole. Each lady will receive a comprehensive written manual to take home along with helpful information and tips. 2 hour class

If your still waiting on a man to hang things for you, do we have a class for you. You will be amazed at the many different ways you can attach things to your walls, ceilings and doors. You’ll learn how to hang blinds something the big box stores charge an arm and a leg for. It’s only 3 to 4 screws per side. You’ll also learn how to hang mirrors and towel bars. Don’t know how to attach that mailbox to your brick wall, this is the class for you. You will learn how to properly use the many different types of hanging hardware and each lady receives a comprehensive written manual to take home along with helpful tips. 2 hour class
No Man Required Part 1 $79.00

This is a fun, interactive class where you will learn to safely and efficiently operate two of the most common and versatile power tools - the cordless power drill and circular saw. During class you will learn: the safe and effective use of these power tools; how to identify the parts and functions of each tool; how to identify and select the proper drill and screwdriver bits; how to select and change the blade on a circular saw. All while drilling, cutting and driving screws to your hearts content. 3 hour class
No Man Required Part 2 $79.00
Prerequisite: No Man Required Part 1. For safety reasons and to ensure the best experience for all ladies you must complete No Man Required Part 1 prior to taking this class.

You’ll make a wooden tool box while using the skills you learned in No Man Required Part 1. I will review with you of all the safety operations you learned previously. You will learn all the basic carpentry skills you need to make the items you want and more. 3 hour class
Trim Your House and it’s not for Xmas. (Interior Trim Classes) $79.00
Prerequisite: No Man Required Part 1. For safety reasons and to ensure the best experience for all ladies you must complete No Man required Part 1 prior to taking this class.

In this class you will learn basic skills you need to measure, plan and install your interior trim project everything from chair rails to baseboards and door and window casing oh yes and that loved crown mouldings. You will learn to safely and effectively use a compound miter saw (referred to as a chop saw by the men) and a air nailer and how to identify and use basic trim tools and materials. 3 hour class

You will learn what maintenance tasks are required to keep your plumbing system working smoothly preventing water leaks from damaging your home. In this class you’ll learn basics of your home plumbing system focusing on toilets, faucets, tub, showers and drains. After the class you will be able to troubleshoot, repair or replace your toilet, faucets and drains and be able to troubleshoot problems with your tub and shower and water heater. 3 hour class
Electrical Basics $159.00

Light up your life! In session 1 we will cover safety and the basics of electrical circuitry including your service panel, circuit breakers and testing of your electrical devices. You will learn how to identify wiring and make proper connections to your devices. You will also learn how to ‘map’ the circuits in your home along with basic troubleshooting skills. In session 2 you will learn to replace receptacles, install a dimmer switch, replace light fixtures, how to wire a ceiling fan for installation and repair cords, plugs and lamps. In this class you will learn what you need to know to safely replace or install receptacles, switches and light fixtures and more. 6 Hours (Two 3 hour sessions)
