Home Improvement Parties
Just us Ladies learning & having a good time doing it. Our Home Improvement Parties work in a different and unusual way. Today, I really don’t know of any of us who really can afford to get things remodeled or have home improvements done. Therefore, I put this business together to show you how you can get what you want now. And it not cost you an arm and a leg. But you will need those things to get what you want.
With these parties you have to have decided what you want done. (Of course we know you may change your mind some along the way) This can be done by getting 3 free estimates from different companies. 1 can be from us. If you have friends that want to learn how to do the things that you’re wanting done we’ll come in and teach you all, if you don’t have friends that want to learn these task. We’ll bring in women that do want to learn these things. We try hard to match customers based upon their needs.
Example (with made up numbers):
1. Choose your project. Bathroom materials for walls, floors, vanity, toilet, lights, wall décor and new accessories. Approxiate Materials Cost $4,000. Labor Cost $6,500. (Get 3 estimates so we can average them out)Check this site for national average Cost vs Value from 2005. Shows cost at $13,000 (I don’t know about you but I can’t afford that)
2. The average of your 3 estimates is $5500.
3. Check with your friends, see if any of them are willing to trade time to help you with your project. If not don’t sweat it. We team up other women that want to learn those things that we’re doing at your house. Your friends earn time for their projects from helping with your project.
4. Let’s say your project will take 3 women to get it done and 6 hrs. a day. 3 X 6=18 hrs. a day X 3 women=54 hrs..
5. Can Do Ladies fee for teaching you and helping you do the work is 50% of your retail estimate. $2750.00.
6. You just saved $2750.00 which means you just made almost $51.00 an hour.
8. Now, you can just say Thank You, but I really don’t want to go help with any other projects. Or you can do your hours and receive $10 an hour back for helping with other peoples projects up to the time that was spent on your project. Which means you’ll get an additional $540.00 back. Making your labor cost $2210.00.
Now, not every project is going to be that expensive. This is just an example of one.
